Rock-A-Bye-Baby doll is a newborn baby doll, Waldorf inspired cloth rag doll, made of cotton knit cloth and stuffed with alpaca fiber. "Sunny" brown baby doll has a hair tuft of black llama fiber, hand embroidered dark brown eyes and ruby smile. Cotton cloth doll is 10" long, has rosy red cheeks, and an "outie" belly button. Newborn baby doll wears a yellow cotton knit nightie with extra long hood and a cotton diaper. My handmade dolls are made one at a time just for you and no two are alike.
This cute little cotton cloth doll is soft, warm and cuddly. Rock-a-bye-Baby doll is made from my original designs. I call this line of dolls "Rock-a-bye-Baby" because of the tiny smooth pebbles that I sew up in a sack and stuff in their little bottoms. These "rocks" give Rock-a-bye-Baby some extra weight.
"Sunny" is hand-constructed with machine seams and hand stitches. This Waldorf inspired doll should be treated by her new Mommy or Daddy with the gentle care that you would give any newborn. Rock A Bye Baby dolls are small enough to fit nicely into a child's hands and arms. The doll can sit up but because the neck and arms and legs are jointed, the doll is somewhat floppy. Sunny is a great educational toy for a child to learn how to support and hold a real baby.
Halo Toys Rock-a-bye Baby dolls are stuffed with alpaca fiber that comes from a neighboring farm. I know the sweet alpacas and llamas and the owners that provide this wonderful fiber. It is cleaned and carded before using in my dolls. Llama and alpaca fiber is naturally hypoallergenic.
Cotton cloth dolls stuffed with alpaca fiber should be spot cleaned only.
